POEM:

Ode To A Bad Power Elite

by Marc Cherbonnier

It’s not just losing tax revenue from corporations moving manufacturing/R&D/headquarters offshore;[3]
it’s not just offshoring good jobs we assumed were for our kids; [2]
it’s not just diminishing U.S. bank assets that cripples making loans;
it’s not just corporate scions dominating political parties and election outcomes;
it’s not just corporate lobbyists manipulating/writing laws that increase monopoly, price fixing and tax loopholes;
it’s not just lowering corporate tax rates in the false hope of repatriating jobs;
it’s not just foreign affairs/wars for corporate benefits, only;
it’s not just budget cutting only where corporations and the Rich will not be harmed; [1] [5
it’s not just continuing to spend double per person (compared to OECD average) for US healthcare to protect hospital, drug & insurance cartels’ profits (other corporations apparently don’t mind being screwed even though they deduct expenses). [4]
IT’S FOR ALL OF THESE REASONS THAT GOVERNMENT MUST DO SOMETHING OR THE COUNTRY WILL SOON DIE.
