BALTIMORE CITY ELECTIONS will be held on Tues., Sept. 9, with polls open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Following are public forums for the various political contests, sponsored by the League of Women Voters with assistance from many community groups; call 410-377-7738 for more info.
Wed., Aug. 20--Candidates' Forum: Hear from candidates for City Council President, 7-9 p.m., Western High School, Cold Spring Lane at Falls Road.

Thurs., Aug. 21--Candidates' Forum, City Council Districts 1, 2 & 13, 7-9 p.m., Patterson High School, 100 Kane St. Tues., Aug. 26, Candidates' Forum, City Council Districts 14, 4 & 3, Morgan State Fine Arts Center, 1700 E. Cold Spring La.

Wed., Aug. 27, Candidates' Forum, Mayoral race, 7-9 p.m., Western High School, Cold Spring Lane at Falls Road.

Thurs., Aug. 28, Candidates' Forum, City Council Districts 8, 9 & 10, 7-9 p.m., Edmondson-Westside High School, 4501 Edmondson Ave.

Wed., Sept. 3, Candidates' Forum, City Council Districts 5, 6 & 7, 7-9 p.m., Urban Medical Institute, 2600 Liberty Heights Ave.

Thurs., Sept. 4, Candidates' Forum, City Council Districts 11 & 12, 7-9 p.m., Union Baptist Church, 1219 Druid Hill Ave.
