Not all pensioners will receive their pension in October: what happened

The suspension of payments does not cancel the pension.

Not all Ukrainian pensioners will receive their pension in October. The restrictions will apply to persons with IDP status, which they received before February 24, 2024. And they have not passed the identification.

As reported by the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

The ministry emphasizes that this category of citizens will be able to resume pension payments. To do this, you need to pass identification either at the Pension Fund office, or in your personal account on the PFU web portal, or through a Sberbank office.

“After passing the identification, the pension payment will be extended. The funds will be paid for all months for which the person did not receive a pension due to failure to pass the identification,” the statement said.

The Ministry of Reintegration emphasized that the suspension of the payment does not cancel the pension. It is kept in the PFU accounts until the person passes the identification.

As reported, Ukrainians can receive pension increases. Some of them are intended automatically, while others will need to submit an application.
