Ukraine today provided assistance to Poland's energy system

At the request of Poland, Ukraine today provided assistance by accepting electricity with a volume of 1,500 MW/hour.

The Ministry of Energy reported this, Ukrinform reports.

“At the request of the Polish side, which had surplus electricity, Ukraine helped the energy system of the neighboring country by receiving 1,500 MWh of electricity from 3 to 8 a.m.,” the department noted.

Import of electricity for the current day is 17627 MW/hour. Export is not provided.

The energy system of Ukraine is balanced. There is no shortage of electricity. Consumer needs are met by domestic generation and commercial imports.

As of today, the building of one of the thermal power plant units has been transferred to short-term emergency repairs.

Due to technical problems as a result of hostilities, the 35 kV overhead line in the Donetsk region was disconnected. All consumers are healed using the reserve.

As a result of the fighting, one of the region's mines remains without tension.

For technical reasons, the main line of Ukrenergo PL-330 in the Dnepropetrovsk region was turned off. Specialists have already returned it to work.

As Ukrinform reported, due to bad weather in Ukraine, 181 settlements remain without electricity.
