Photo The mining company Ukrnafta launched a well in eastern Ukraine with an initial oil flow rate of 51.4 tons per day.
As Ukrinform reports, the director of the company, Sergei Koretsky, announced this on Facebook.
“The total depth of the new exploration well is 2919 meters. The initial flow rate is 51.4 tons per day of practically anhydrous oil (water cut 2-3%),” Koretsky wrote.
He noted that Ukrnafta operated its own drilling rig and used its own developments during the drilling process to reduce costs.
In addition, in the well section, Ukrnafta specialists discovered three more promising deposits in the Serpukhov and Bashkir deposits. After developing the underlying deposits, the company will drill the horizontal part of the well in order to develop oil reserves in the Bashkir deposits.
As reported, thanks to the measures taken, Ukrnafta was able to increase the daily oil production at two wells by a total of 80 tons.
