The Cabinet of Ministers allocated 339.2 million hryvnia to the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection for the purchase of special equipment and machinery.
The permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, announced this in a telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to Melnychuk, the administration of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection allocated UAH 339,177.9 million for the program “Completing measures to provide special equipment and machinery.”
It is noted that the source of the formation of these funds was the receipts of the special fund of the state budget from fees for services provided by the State Service of Geology and Subsoil, received as a fee for secondary geological information when issuing a special permit for the use of subsoil, not used until 01.09.2023.
As reported, all funds from the road fund for the next year (94.7 billion UAH) will be redirected to defense needs, which will make it possible to mobilize all possible internal resources in this area.
