In Ukraine, due to bad weather, 52 settlements in four regions remain without electricity

As of the morning of December 28 in Ukraine, due to unfavorable weather conditions, 52 settlements remain without power supply, mainly in the Donetsk region.

As Ukrinform reports, the Ministry of Energy reported this.

In particular, due to bad weather, subscribers in 45 settlements in the Donetsk region and 421 consumers in the Sumy region are left without electricity. As a result of the bad weather, the 110 kV overhead line in the Kharkov region and 3 legal consumers in the Kirovograd region were also de-energized.

It is reported that due to hostilities there is no electricity in 63 settlements in the Zaporozhye region, 46 settlements and partly the regional center in the Kherson region, 20 settlements completely and 7 partially in the Chernihiv region, as well as 15,975 subscribers in the Kharkov region and 2282 consumers in the Sumy region.

For technical reasons, there is no power supply to 5 settlements in the Zaporozhye region, 223 consumers in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

During the day, power engineers restored power to 1,625 subscribers in the Kharkov region, 6,584 subscribers in the Zaporozhye region, 1,053 subscribers in the Kherson region, and also connected a 35 kV line in the Nikolaev region.

In the Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk regions, gas pipelines were damaged as a result of Russian shelling, and consumers were disconnected. In addition, in Dnieper, due to the activation of protective equipment on the gas network, gas supply to 334 household consumers and one public utility facility was suspended.

As reported, in Kherson, power supplies have been restored to almost 94 thousand consumers who were de-energized as a result of massive shelling of the city on December 26.
