The Ministry of Energy assured that there is no shortage of electricity in the Ukrainian energy network.
On New Year's Eve, Ukraine will export electricity to Moldova on New Year's Eve.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
“Export to Moldova is expected at night,” the message says.
At the same time, the Ministry of Energy noted that they also plan to import 11,600 MWh of electricity.
The department assured that there is no shortage of electricity in the Ukrainian energy network.
“There are four units of thermal power plants in reserve, which can be put into operation if necessary. The energy system is balanced. The situation is controlled. Power outage schedules are not applied ,” the Ministry of Energy assures.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said whether there would be power outages during the holidays.
