Privat24 experienced a glitch: what operations were not carried out

An error occurred when trying to transfer money.

Clients of the state-owned “PrivatBank< /strong>” On February 19, they complained about a failure in the systems of financial institutions. In particular, operations for transferring funds from card to card did not work in the application and on the Privat24 online banking website. At the same time, not all users of the system had problems and by 12:30 the problems were resolved.

This was reported by OBOZ.UA with reference to the bank’s press service.

” There was a short-term glitch. It was quickly fixed,” the press service noted. Problems in the system lasted less than 30 minutes.

As reported by bank clients, when there was a failure, authorization in the system occurred as usual. However, when trying to transfer money, an error occurred. Some operations were still carried out, despite reports of problems.

Recall that the PrivatBank application and website did not work on the night of February 17th. This is due to routine processing work.
