Calculations are provided, checked by specialists from the National Regulatory Commission for Energy and Environmental Utilities and then are established in two stages. The first stage is approved, put into discussion mode, and then established. Approvals of calculations have been published for some cities. This means that the discussion process has begun. We expected that by April 1, tariffs would be established in all water utilities. Average increase , as far as I know, should happen by about 15%, although this does not cover all the costs of water utilities. From our point of view of justification, on average in Ukraine there should be an increase of 45-50%. Moreover, this applies to cities that are closer to the fighting. There the situation is even more complicated. Another factor in reducing revenues to water utilities is the outflow of consumers. There are fewer people there, less water is supplied, less income goes into the accounts of enterprises,” he said.</p> <p>According to his data, the damage to water utilities has already reached UAH 8 billion. And the underfunding of our supply systems for the industry as a whole is 18 billion UAH.</p> <p>“Therefore, society must decide where exactly to look for money to support the industry – if not a tariff, there must be support from the budgets,” he added.</p> <p>Meanwhile, in In Ukraine, water utilities <strong>began to cut off water to debtors.</strong></p> <p><strong>It was previously reported that electricity tariffs would rise to an average of 3.5–4 UAH.</strong></p> <p><!--noindex--></p> <p><a rel=tsn.ua
