Almost 4 billion hryvnia were allocated from the state budget for payments to displaced persons.

Ukraine will continue to pay financial assistance for residence for internally displaced persons (IDP), despite the lack of financial assistance from Western countries.

So, in March the state will allocate several billion from the budget to pay IDPs, the Ministry of Social Policy reported in response to an information request from the Ukrinform agency.

It is noted that in March, cash assistance will be paid to 1.5 million Ukrainians with IDP status. In total, almost 4 billion hryvnia will be spent on payments for displaced persons during the first month of spring.

“According to data from the Unified Information Database on Internally Displaced Persons, from 2014 to the present day, 4 have been registered in Ukraine. 9 million people. Of these, 3.6 million are citizens who had to leave their place of residence for the first time after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine,” the message says.

State assistance for displaced persons has not yet changed:

< p>We would like to remind you that from March 1, 2024, assistance for living expenses for internally displaced persons will be calculated taking into account the real need of the family for assistance. The state will also check the level of human integration in the economic development of the country.
