The number of watermelons from the right bank of the Kherson region, where the fields have already been cleared, has increased.

At the beginning of summer, the melon market in Ukraine was unexpectedly shaped by imported watermelons. They were delivered from Greece, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Spain.
Now Ukrainian farmers are fighting with wholesalers, because the latter are trying to push purchase prices down, but at the same time they do not allow retail prices to be lowered below 23 UAH per kg.

We recall that according to the published report of the State Statistics Service, as of June 2024, prices increased for such basic food items as fruits (10.4%), vegetables (1.3%), fish and seafood (0.9%), sugar (0.6%), and bread (0.7%).
