Some can retire early.
In Ukraine, there are several professions and conditions under which an pension by age can be assigned earlier than the established term, in particular, at 55 years.
This was reported by the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Persons who worked in hazardous and difficult production conditions have the right to early retirement, according to list No. 2, including a list of industries, jobs, professions, positions and indicators approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Therefore, such persons have the right to receive an old-age pension on preferential terms from the age of 55, subject to the following requirements:
- for men – with at least 30 years of insurance experience, of which at least 12 years 6 months in the specified jobs
- for women – with at least 25 years of experience, of which at least 10 years in the specified jobs
To retire for length of service, teachers must have at least 30 years of teaching experience and be 55 years of age. This provision of the Law of Ukraine “On Pension Provision” came into force on April 1, 2024.
Earlier it became known that in Ukraine has decided to “freeze” the subsistence minimum and minimum wage for the next three years. At the same time, only in 2025, according to the macroeconomic forecast, which is included in the budget declaration, inflation is expected at 10%.
