Ukrainians were automatically transferred a subsidy due to the new electricity tariff: what is known

Subsidies for the non-heating and heating periods were transferred without personal appeal.

Consumers were automatically transferred subsidies for the non-heating season due to the increase in the electricity tariff. However, if the family's financial status has changed, it is necessary to update the data in the Pension Fund authorities.

This was reported by the Director of the Pension Provision Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Elena Okhrimenko, as reported by the publication “24 Kanal”.

The same will happen with subsidies for the heating season, starting on October 15. Subsidies will be transferred without the applicant's personal request.

The size of the subsidies was affected by the increase in the electricity tariff.

“If we take the payment for electricity, then by June 1, a kilowatt cost 2.64 hryvnia. And starting from June 1, the cost changed to 4.33 hryvnia per kilowatt. On average, a person receiving a subsidy is provided with 70 kilowatts of electricity per householder. If there are other family members, then 30 additional kilowatts are provided for each family member,” she explained.

Who needs to update their data in the Pension Fund:

In the event of a change in the composition of the household (for example, part of the family leaves the country), an application and documents should be submitted to the Pension Fund.

Let us recall that the Ministry of Social Policy is initiating changes to the procedure for assigning housing subsidies. The changes will also affect those citizens who have debts for utilities.

A question that worries everyone! The minimum wage has increased – what about subsidies and social benefits?
