Ukrainians were told the date until which the preferential gas tariff will be maintained.
The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the special obligations for preferential gas supplies to heat and power utilities, household consumers, gas distribution system operators and electricity producers until April 30, 2025.
The government made this decision at a meeting on August 23, the NAK Naftogaz Ukraine reported.
“Ukraine is facing a difficult winter. In these conditions, the key task of the Naftogaz Group is to provide Ukrainians and Ukrainian businesses with a certain stability and predictability during the next heating season. Gas is currently the main guaranteed source of energy. Therefore, we, as the largest national energy company in Ukraine and a gas producer, will continue to be a support for Ukrainians in these difficult times,” said Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshev.
These prices will be valid until the end of the next heating season:
- a cubic meter of gas for the population will continue to cost UAH 7.96 with VAT
- for the production of thermal energy for the population – UAH 7.42
- for the production of thermal energy for budgetary institutions – UAH 16.39
- for the production of electricity in the condensing cycle – UAH 10.5
- for electricity production in the heating cycle – 16.5 UAH
Recall that the company “Naftogaz” warned consumers about the need to check gas equipment in residential premises. The cost of this service is about 1000 UAH.
