After lunch on September 2, customs began clearing fuel at new excise rates.

The State Customs Service began clearing fuel at updated excise rates.

One of the traders reported that “customs stood still all day yesterday and this morning, and already after lunch they began clearing fuel at new excise rates.”

Another source said that customs delays were expected, so their company cleared the fuel by August 30, and planned new deliveries after September 1.

Recall that on September 2, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed law No. 11256-2, which provides for an increase in excise taxes on fuel.
