Prices may triple.
Ukrainians can expect a serious rise in tariffs as well as problems with access to the Internet as early as October. All because of the prospects of switching to a common taxation system.
This was stated by participants in the communications services market, writes Today.ua.
It is noted that such a procedure may conceal an attempt to monopolize the market in favor of giant companies.
As noted by the executive director of the My Provider group of companies, Lyudmila Kokorovets, this will lead to the closure of many small companies operating in towns and villages.
“And if they do provide their services, then for completely different money. This will lead to the fact that in Odessa people will pay for the Internet conditionally 300 hryvnia per month, and somewhere in remote areas – 1300 or more,” she added.
It is also noted that in Ukraine there is competition between small companies, which allows them to offer customers adequate prices and quality services.
“A market deprived of competition will inevitably lose in quality of services and will to an increase in prices,” said Roman Perun, a representative of the IT-KARKAS company.
In turn, the head of the Odessa OVA suggested that providers create a working group and systematize their proposals so that he would have a clear action plan.
“This is an all-Ukrainian phenomenon, so Odessa cannot change anything autonomously, and you need to contact the State Fiscal Service,” he summed up.
