The Ministry of Finance has revealed the average salary of civil servants

The Finance Ministry reported the average salary of civil servants

The introduction of a new classification of positions has improved the remuneration of civil servants.

The Finance Ministry of Ukraine has published information on remuneration in government agencies for the period from January to August 2024. In August, the average salary in government agencies amounted to 55.8 thousand hryvnia.

This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Since the beginning of the year, the Cabinet of Ministers has introduced new terms of payment for civil servants based on the classification of positions. This has increased transparency and fairness in payments.

The Ministry of Finance provides monthly data on the actual level of average wages in government agencies, including local governments and the judiciary, and also details information by job level. The updated dashboard also includes data from the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which is financed by a single social contribution.

Deputy Minister of Finance Roman Ermolichev emphasized that all government agencies, with the exception of those regulated by special legislation, have completed the transition to the new wage system. He also noted the importance of the efficient use of budget funds for all government agencies and budgetary institutions.

Recall that People's Deputy of Ukraine Galina Yanchenko stated that in Ukraine 57% of the state budget is allocated for security and defense. She emphasized that employees of government agencies should not expect a salary increase, since ensuring the country's defense capability remains a priority.
