Will Electricity Prices Rise in Ukraine: Yasno CEO Gives a Clear Answer

Will electricity become more expensive in Ukraine: Yasno CEO gave a clear answer

Electricity tariffs will remain unchanged.

Electricity for the population will not become more expensive in Ukraine next year.

This was stated by Yasno CEO Sergey Kovalenko.

“Firstly, YASNO and representatives of our company did not say anything about electricity tariffs for the population.
Secondly, this issue is exclusively within the competence of the Cabinet of Ministers. And there have been no statements or announcements from them either.
Thirdly, trust official sources of information, and not rumors from “experts” who decided to use the brand to enhance their fantasies,” said the CEO of Yasno.

Earlier it became known that Ukrenergo is preparing to increase the tariff for the transmission of electricity for 2025, as a result of which it may actually grow by one and a half times to 783.71 UAH/MWh.

According to MP Oleksiy Kucherenko, tariffs for the population may be revised in the spring.

“Until spring, no one will revise this tariff for the population, as I understand it. After spring, this balalaika will start playing again and they will start talking about the market price of electricity, the need to raise it, etc. This is inevitable,” Kucherenko added.

We remind you that in Ukraine, the price of electricity for one category of consumers will increase from October 1. Read more about this in the news.
