When will the first payment of the “National Cashback” take place: the Ministry of Economy has named the dates

The maximum amount of payments is UAH 3,000 per month.

Ukrainians will receive the first payment of the “National Cashback” from October 22 to October 31. In total, the state will pay UAH 37.2 million to the accounts of more than 646 thousand Ukrainians, accumulated for the purchase of domestically produced goods in September.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Cashback in the amount of 10% of the cost is accrued for the purchase of goods from Ukrainian manufacturers participating in the program. The maximum amount of payments is 3,000 UAH per month.

Funds received under the “National Cashback” program can be spent on services – utilities, medical, transport and others. Or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or purchase military bonds.

“Cashback is a form of financial support for citizens from the state. These funds can be spent, in particular, on utilities. This is a particularly relevant issue during the heating season. In addition, these funds can be spent on charity, donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, purchased military bonds or spent on other services. It is very important for us that Ukrainians choose Ukrainian. We expect that such additional benefits will not only be social support, but will also stimulate the development of Ukrainian producers,” said Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko.

The Ministry of Economy specified that the funds will be credited to those citizens who spent more than 20 hryvnia on the purchase of Ukrainian goods in September. In September, there were 646,378 such consumers.

Terms of payment of “National cashback”

To receive payments under the “National cashback” program, Ukrainians must activate the card for payments in “Diya”. Those who have done this will receive the cashback accumulated for September in October.

“Those who have not activated their card for payments, and there are more than 300 thousand such consumers as of the end of September, must do so. The funds will not disappear anywhere, they will be paid in November,” the department explained.

Taxation of “National Cashback”

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law according to which income received under the “National Cashback” program is not subject to taxation.

Cashback payments are made monthly after the 20th. Payments will be received for the previous month. That is, at the end of October, consumers will receive cashback for September, at the end of November – for October.

How to become a participant in the National Cashback program

To receive cashback from the state, you must:

Submit an application through the website or mobile application of a bank participating in the program or contact a branch. The following banks have joined the program: PrivatBank, monobank, Ukrgasbank, Sense Bank, PUMB, Abank, Bank Globus, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Sberbank, Accordbank and Bank Credit Dnepr.

Identify the cards you use to pay for purchases and grant the bank permission to transfer information about transactions from these cards in stores participating in the program.

Open a physical or virtual card where the cashback will be credited.

In “Diia” in the Services section, select the “National Cashback” card for payments.

We remind you that the “National Cashback” program, which provides for a refund of part of the money for the purchase of goods and services produced in Ukraine, was previously announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky at the presentation of the “Made in Ukraine” program in the winter of 2024.
