Trump's Victory Enriches World's Richest People by $63.5 Billion — Bloomberg

This is the largest daily increase in the history of the billionaires index, which has been maintained since 2012.

In one day, the wealth of the world's ten richest people grew by a record $64 billion. All because of Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.

Bloomberg writes about this.

The founder of SpaceX, PayPal, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk's fortune increased the most — by $26.5 billion. Now his assets amount to 290 billion.

The fortune of Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos, who banned the editorial board from supporting US Vice President Kamala Harris in the elections, increased by 7.1 billion dollars – to 228.3 billion dollars.

The assets of Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison reached 193.5 billion dollars.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates became richer by 1.2%, his fortune increased to 159.5 billion dollars, the fortune of former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer – to 145.9 billion (+2%).

The fortune of Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin increased by 3.6% – to 158.3 billion and 149.1 billion dollars, respectively.

Bloomberg explains that such gains were made possible by a sharp rise in US stocks, which underscores the bets that Trump, having returned to the White House, will implement a program aimed at cutting taxes and reducing regulation.

Recall that the media wrote that Donald Trump's success in the presidential election, in particular, is associated with the support of billionaire and businessman Elon Musk. Despite active aggressive support and a disinformation campaign, Musk is also pursuing his own goals.
