Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that the state received $1.35 billion. grant from the United States.

Shmyhal said that the grant funds will be directed to priority humanitarian and social programs.

He added that the US government sent funding through the Agency for International Development (USAID) and in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the State Department of the country.

The Ukrainian Prime Minister thanked his American partners for this support.

“Our government continues to work with allies to mobilize the necessary financial resources this year and next year,” Shmyhal added.

By the way, as MP Nina Yuzhanina explained earlier, Ukraine's state budget for 2025 was drawn up with the assumption that Western partners will continue to cover the entire civilian part of the expenses. If the aid stops, there will be nothing to finance these expenses with.
