The payment program is being implemented in two stages.
From January 1, 2025, secondary school teaching staff will begin to receive a monthly additional payment of UAH 1,300, and from September 1, the amount will increase to UAH 2,600.
This is stated in Resolution No. 1286 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The updated system of additional payments applies to all teachers in state and municipal secondary schools. In particular, the following payments are provided:
- teachers conducting classes in core subjects
- psychologists providing support to students and working to improve their psycho-emotional state
- leaders of clubs organizing extracurricular activities and additional education
- teachers of extended day groups who work with children after school
All teaching staff, regardless of experience, qualifications or location of the school, will receive additional payments.
This is aimed at increasing support for teachers throughout the country. Additional payments will be calculated automatically without the need to submit applications or additional documents.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine increased the subvention by 15.5 billion UAH. The bulk of the money will go to teachers' salaries.
