According to MPs Zheleznyak and Yuzhanina, the additional UAH 3.8 billion for cashback and “1000 from Zelensky” were taken from other programs.

The Cabinet of Ministers decided to take money from business support and demining programs and provide an additional UAH 3.8 billion this year for the cashback program and the Winter Support program, which is popularly nicknamed “Zelensky's thousand.”

This was reported by MPs Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Nina Yuzhanina on Telegram.

According to Yuzhanina, the Cabinet of Ministers reduced:

Instead, UAH 3 billion 863 million is provided under the program “Support for domestic demand for domestic goods and services” to provide one-time state financial assistance “Winter Support”.

Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that the law on raising taxes in Ukraine will come into force on December 1.

Recall that on October 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a new program “ePidtrimka” – one thousand hryvnia per person

In total, the government will allocate 5 billion hryvnia for the “Winter ePidtrimka”, transferring funds from the cashback program.
