The hryvnia weakened against the American currency.
The National Bank set the official exchange rates for the weekend: Saturday, January 4, and Sunday, January 5. Before the weekend, the dollar rose by 6 kopecks. The euro lost 12 kopecks in value, and the zloty – 9 kopecks.
This was reported on the NBU website.
The previous working day’s exchange rates are used on weekends.
Dollar exchange rate
- 1 US dollar – 42.03
Euro exchange rate
- 1 euro – 43.37
Zloty exchange rate
- 1 Polish zloty – 10.14
Recall that the head of the NBU Andriy Pyshny reported whether the dollar exchange rate will soar in 2025. In particular, according to him, the National Bank will ensure the “stability” of the currency market in 2025.
