The increase will be accrued for the first time in the month following the month in which a certain age is reached.
Ukrainians who have reached 70 years of age have the right to receive an increase in their pension based on age. Payments start from 300 UAH.
This is stated in the Law of Ukraine “On Pension Provision”.
The age supplement to the pension is:
- after reaching 70 years – 300 UAH,
- after reaching 75 years – 456 UAH,
- after reaching 80 years – 570 UAH.
The supplement to the pension is calculated automatically based on information from the pension fund. You do not need to submit an application for this. However, the additional payment is only provided to those whose pension does not exceed UAH 10,340.35.
It is also noted that the increase will be accrued for the first time in the month following the month in which a certain age is reached, and its size will be proportional to the number of days after the pensioner's birthday for the first time.
We remind you that the Ministry of Social Policy has prepared a draft budget for the Pension Fund for 2025. Pension indexation is planned to be carried out with a coefficient of 1.10.
