There are about 9 million entries in the Register of Debtors in total.
Ukrainians have accumulated over 360 thousand new debts since May 2024, according to the Unified Register of Debtors. In total, the ERB was replenished with 712,453 entries in 2024. Fines for traffic violations are at the top.

What are the most fines for?
- More entries in the Register of Debtors concern fines for traffic violations – 1.8 million or 21% of the total.
- Another 20% is a penalty for administrative offenses – 1.7 million.
- Collections in favor of the state budget amounted to 1.6 million or 18.5% of the total amount of debts.
- Debts for utilities – 727 thousand or 8%.
Another 21% of debts cannot be attributed to any of the above-mentioned categories.
Recall that according to the State Statistics Service, in December 2024, the average utility prices compared to December 2023 rates. This includes the cost of housing, water, gas and other types of fuel. Rates have increased by 18.9%.
