Payments will be provided during martial law.
Ukrainian pensioners can receive additional payments exceeding 2.3 thousand UAH. However, they are intended only for certain categories of citizens.
This was reported by the head of the Pension Department in the Cherkasy region, Tatyana Koval.
According to her, unemployed Chernobyl pensioners who lived in the mandatory and voluntary resettlement zones during 1986-1993 will be able to receive a payment of 2,361 UAH.
“Only they will receive a pension supplement of 2,361 UAH from January 1, 2025. The payment is scheduled for the period of martial law,” the official noted.
These payments were determined in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget for 2025”. The additional payment will be provided only for the period of martial law.
The additional money is not intended for citizens who left the evacuation zones or changed their place of residence from April 26, 1986 to January 1, 1993.
As reported, Ukrainians with a small pension will receive additional payments from 300 UAH. We are talking about Ukrainians who have reached 70 years of age and have the right to receive an increase in their old-age pension.
