There are certain restrictions on receiving such an increase.
In Ukraine, single pensioners who need outside care can apply for a monthly additional payment in February 2025, the amount of which is 944 UAH.
This rule is in effect in accordance with the Law of Ukraine and the decision of the government, NV reports.
However, there are certain restrictions to receive such a pension supplement. Yes, citizens must meet several criteria.
To receive additional payments, you must:
- reach 80 years of age or older;
- live independently;
- require constant outside care for your health;
- receive an old-age pension.
If citizens receive a disability pension, they will not be entitled to this type of additional payment. The need for constant outside care must be confirmed by doctors' findings and documented.
To apply for additional payment, in addition to the application, pensioners must provide:
- a conclusion from a medical advisory commission stating that the applicant needs constant outside care;
- passport;
- identification number;
- an extract from the Pension Fund stating that the pensioner does not receive a care supplement to his pension.
As reported, in Ukraine teachers of one of the communities will receive monthly bonuses. In Lviv, a thousand teachers will be awarded monthly for one year.
