Within 14 working days, the Pension Fund must recalculate payments to the relevant categories of persons.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has clarified the procedure for paying pensions to war veterans and families of fallen soldiers.
This was reported by People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko.
The MP reported that changes have been made to the procedure for paying pensions that are not subject to reduction due to equalization coefficients.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine will automatically receive data from Register of war veterans through the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
Within 14 working days, the Pension Fund must recalculate pensions for the relevant categories of persons.
If the pension amount increases after verification, the additional payment will be accrued from January 1, 2025.
By the way, in the fall of 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a new Procedure for the appointment and payment of a lump sum benefit in the event of death (death) or disability of certain categories of persons in accordance with the law “On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection”.
