The state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine in January 2025 increased by UAH 87.03 billion – to UAH 7,068.00 billion.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
It is noted that as of January 31, 2025, the public and publicly guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 7,068.00 billion, or USD 168.99 billion. In January 2025, the amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt of Ukraine increased in hryvnia equivalent by UAH 87.03 billion, and in dollar equivalent, the public and publicly guaranteed debt increased by USD 2.93 billion.
In particular, the state and state-guaranteed external debt amounted to UAH 5,141.34 billion (72.74% of the total amount), or USD 122.93 billion; the state and state-guaranteed internal debt amounted to UAH 1,926.66 billion (27.26%), or USD 46.07 billion.
The public debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 6,778.92 billion (95.91% of the total amount of public and publicly guaranteed debt), or USD 162.08 billion.
Ukraine's state-guaranteed debt amounted to UAH 289.08 billion (4.09%), or USD 6.91 billion.
As reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the average weighted cost of Ukraine's public and publicly guaranteed debt has decreased by 1.5 times, and the average weighted maturity has doubled to 12.26 years.
