Ukraine's gross domestic product increased by 0.7% in 2025, and by 1.1% in 2025; The main drivers of growth were everyday life, industrial production and domestic trade.
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reports this, Ukrinform reports.
“Ukraine's GDP has grown by 0.7% in 2025, and by 1.1% in the first two months of the year. This is the lowest beginning of the year, which reflects the uneven growth trends of the past year. “Now we are going to give a little more than our forecast for the first quarter,” said Oleksiy Sobolev, the first defender of the Minister of Economy.
In other words, the main factors of growth will be lost: industrial production and domestic trade.
The growing economy has subsided, the growth of domestic trade has subsided, and the fourth month since then has continued to show a positive mood.
In addition, business renewal and support programs will support the development of the manufacturing industry, along with international financial support. Positive dynamics are demonstrated by the production of waste materials, machinery products and grub industries.
Currently, the agricultural sector is wary of a decrease in the production of animal products through increased production. A decline was also recorded in the additional industry due to rocket attacks on the industrial gas infrastructure and in transport due to a temporary decrease in the activity of exporters.
As reported, in 2025, GDP growth was estimated at 1.5%. Last year, the growth was uneven: 6.5% in the first quarter of 2024 was equal to the first quarter of 2023, in the second quarter – 3.7%, in the third quarter – 2.0%. Forecast for GDP growth, mortgages up to the 2025 budget, to become 2.7% per rіk.
