Infographics In Ukraine, on 20 February, farmers planted 250.4 thousand. hectares of bright grain and leguminous crops.

It appears that farmers in 19 regions are already actively harvesting early spring crops.
“The largest sown area falls on barley – 133.5 thousand hectares. Spring wheat has already been sown on 36.7 thousand hectares, peas – 57 thousand hectares, whole wheat – 16.9 thousand hectares,” according to informed
So, according to the pace of sіbby, the leaders were:
- Mykolayiv region: 43 thousand. ha (wheat – 1.5 thousand ha, barley – 22.5 thousand ha, peas – 18.7 thousand ha, oats – 0.3 thousand ha).
- Ternopil region: 31.3 thousand. hectares (wheat – 6.4 thousand hectares, barley – 21.3 thousand hectares, peas – 2.1 thousand hectares, oats – 1.5 thousand hectares).
- Kirovograd region: 25.9 thousand. ha (wheat – 0.9 thousand ha, barley – 14.5 thousand ha, peas – 10.5 thousand ha).
- Vinnytsia region: 24.1 thousand. hectares (wheat – 5.6 thousand hectares, barley – 12.3 thousand hectares, peas – 5.3 thousand hectares, oats – 0.9 thousand hectares).
- Rivne region: 15.2 thousand. hectares (wheat – 0.5 thousand hectares, barley – 10.7 thousand hectares, peas – 0.7 thousand hectares, oats – 3.3 thousand hectares).
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in 2025 it is planned to plant over 5.7 million hectares of light grain and leguminous crops, which is similar to 2024.
As reported, Ukrainian farmers plan to increase the area under spring wheat by 28% for the new season – to 222.8 thousand. ha through a stable supply of processing enterprises and exporters.
