252 people’s deputies voted for the corresponding decision.

“Parliament appointed Olga Peschanskaya as Chairman of the Accounts Chamber. Prior to this, she served as head of the AMCU. For – 252… despite the reservation of international partners. “I, of course, didn’t vote,” Zheleznyak wrote in Telegram.

He also recalled that this issue was still on the agenda on December 21, 2023, but then there weren’t enough votes.

Pishchanskaya worked in the Antimonopoly Committee from September 2019 to September 2023, including heading it for three years.

In September 2023, Pishchanskaya wrote a letter of resignation, and already in December the Verkhovna Rada appointed him one of members of the Accounts Chamber.

It should be noted that during the voting, the parliament ignored the reservation of the G7 ambassadors, who advised Ukraine to first change the conditions of the competition for the Accounts Chamber and only after that select new members.
