Business support
“It is obvious that an effective system of social benefits requires an effective economy. Therefore, we will continue to stimulate the economy through business support programs. In total, we will allocate more than UAH 40 billion for these incentives. We continue and improve one of the most successful government preferential lending programs “5-7-9”. In total, we allocate UAH 18 billion for affordable loans for small and medium-sized businesses,” Shmygal noted.
According to him, more than 11 thousand Ukrainians have already received non-repayable grants from the state to start and expand their business. This is the eRobot program, thanks to which more than 35 thousand new jobs have already been created. Next year the government plans to issue an even larger number of grants.
“The plans for this year are to issue about 15 thousand grants. Specifically, we want to help create over 1,000 new veteran businesses. We will support farmers, the construction industry, the creation and expansion of processing enterprises,” the prime minister said.
In addition, the government plans to allocate 3 billion hryvnia for state support of large investment projects in Ukraine. In particular, for the first time the budget included funds for expanding the network of industrial parks. We are talking about 1 billion hryvnia, which will give impetus to the development of these industrial sites.
“The government will decide to create another industrial park in Transcarpathia. We are talking about long-term investments worth more than UAH 5 billion and the creation of about 2 thousand new jobs,” the prime minister noted.
