The Board of the National Bank decided to maintain discount rate at 15% per annum. This was stated by the head of the NBU Andriy Pyshny during a briefing on monetary policy. According to him, given the expected acceleration of inflation in 2024 and the upwardly shifted balance of risks, the NBU considers it advisable to keep the discount rate unchanged.
