Expanding the conditions of the “Eoselya” program: what Ukrainians need to know

You can buy a residential building

From now on, you can also purchase a residential building within the framework of the Yoselya mortgage program. A residential building means both an individual house and a block house – the so-called cottage or townhouse.

Previously, only an apartment in a residential building could be purchased with an affordable loan.

Housing that cannot be taken in mortgage

The list of housing that cannot be taken out on a mortgage has been clarified:

Thus, the standard area of ​​a residential building provided for a family with one person (single person) is no more than 62.5 square meters. meters of total area and an additional 21 sq. meter – for each next family member.

That is, the maximum area for a family of 4 persons is 125.5 sq.m.

Who can use the program

Today, both representatives of certain professions and citizens who do not own housing or want to improve its conditions can use the “єOselya” program.

For contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teachers, doctors and scientists, the preferential rate is 3% per annum. For other categories – combatants, veterans, IDPs, and other citizens – the mortgage rate is 7%.

The eOselya program began its work in October 2022. The program is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy together with the Ministry of Digital Development and PJSC Ukrfinzhilye. The partner banks of “Eosel” are Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Ukreximbank and Sense Bank.

The “Ministry of Finance” wrote that from the beginning of the program “ єOselya” loans were received by 6,757 families for a total amount of UAH 10.2 billion. 1,200 of them took out loans under the terms of a mass mortgage for a total of UAH 2 billion.

In 2023, according to plans announced by the government, it was planned to provide loans under the “Eoselya” program acquisition of 10 thousand apartments. As of October, less than 4 thousand families received housing.
