The Rada has simplified the registration of land for development by enterprises and warehouses

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law “On introducing amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on simplifying the procedure for changing the intended purpose of land plots to attract investment with the aim of quickly restoring Ukraine.” This was reported by the First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Details

The law proposes to establish a simplified procedure for changing the intended purpose of land plots in territories outside populated areas for the duration of martial law and five years after its completion, if in relation to such territories there is no approved urban planning documentation at the local level.

The simplified procedure does not apply to lands classified as natural reserves and other environmental purposes, lands of historical and cultural purposes, water resources, recreational, forestry purposes.

What does the adopted bill imply

A simplified procedure for changing the designated purpose of sites will be valid for the placement of the following objects:

A change in the intended purpose of land plots for such objects will be made by the decision of the owner of such a plot by filing an application.

A change in the intended purpose of land plots in such cases will be made:

The authors of the bill believe that its adoption will contribute to the restoration of the Ukrainian economy during martial law and after the end of hostilities by attracting private domestic and foreign investment for the rapid implementation of projects for the construction of industrial facilities.
