In the fourth quarter, the largest US public pension fund, California Public Employees Retirement System (Calpers), doubled its portfolio of Intel shares, and also significantly increased investments in Nvidia and Walt Disney Co. Interfax-Ukraine writes about this.

The fund acquired 8.1 million shares of Intel Corp., as a result of which it now owns 16.1 million securities of the chipmaker, Calpers said in a report sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The fund also increased its position in Nvidia Corp. by 1.8 million shares – up to 7.5 million, Disney – by 1.7 million shares, up to 6.6 million.
At the same time, Calpers sold almost 28.5 thousand shares of Netflix Inc., and now owns less than 786 thousand securities of the streaming service.
Intel stock quotes over the last three months have increased by 13.3%, Nvidia by 48.4%, Disney by 21.2 %, Netflix – by 26.3%. At the same time, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite stock indices during this period increased by 13.9% and 15.9%, respectively.
Calpers manages assets worth about $500 billion, its clients include 2 million state and municipal companies California State employees and their family members.
