It is noted that the funds will be used for reimbursement budget expenditures used to compensate home owners for repairs to apartment buildings and private houses that were moderately damaged as a result of war and do not require major repairs.

The project will support policy reforms at the national level to improve recovery outcomes.

Also in the near future, Ukraine expects funding from the governments of Japan and Norway through another World Bank project “Supporting Public Expenditures to Ensure Sustainable Public Administration in Ukraine” (PEACE in Ukraine).

Future funding will partially offset Ukrainian state budget expenses for payments to teachers, first responders and pension payments.
