The guarantee fund sells a pool of mortgage loans from three banks

The Deposit Guarantee Fund is putting up for sale a pool of mortgage loans from three banks. This was reported by the press service of the Guarantee Fund.

“March 21, 2024 in the Prozorro system. The sale will include an auction for the sale of a pool of assets of Megabank JSC, MR Bank JSC and Prominvestbank PJSC, liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund. The pool put up for auction included the rights of claim under loan agreements, secured by a mortgage and assets associated with them,” the message says.

In one lot, the rights of claim under 54 loan agreements of JSC Megabank ( total debt is UAH 71.5 million), 34 loan agreements with MR BANK JSC (total debt is UAH 2,012.3 million), 2 loan agreements with Prominvestbank PJSC (total debt is UAH 1.5 million). p>

According to the amount of debt, 95% of the loan portfolio put up for auction consists of loans issued in foreign currency (US dollars and euros), the rest – in hryvnia. 99% of the portfolio are loans issued before 2013. The starting price of the lot is UAH 77.9 million.

All assets combined in the pool were previously put up for auction – individually and as part of a lot – but did not find their buyers .
