Apple for the first time allowed the launch of a third-party store on its platform

Apple will allow Epic to launch its iPhone app store in the region. Bloomberg reports this.

Apple will renew the developer account for the Swedish division of Epic, which will allow the gaming company Continue with plans to create its own app store in the EU.

Under the EU Digital Markets Act, which came into force this week, Apple is required to allow competitors to operate on its platform.
