There is no deficit in the energy system in Ukraine – ministry

Despite the fact that Russia is systematically trying to destroy the Ukrainian energy system and continues to attack critical infrastructure, there is no shortage in the energy system in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

At the Odessa Thermal Power Plant, equipment was turned off due to technological violations , as a result of which household consumers in Odessa and local infrastructure were cut off for a short time. The equipment is put into operation, all consumers are healed.

There are 15 units and 2 thermal power plant buildings in reserve, which will be used in case of need. Commercial import and export of electricity is also planned.

At a 330 kV high-voltage substation in the Lviv region, equipment was switched off due to damage. Without de-energized consumers. During the day, the equipment was returned to operation.

During operational switching, the 330 kV overhead line in the Dnepropetrovsk region was disconnected, which was repaired within half an hour.

In the Kharkov and Kirovograd regions due to damage in networks, high-voltage lines of 330 kV were switched off for a short time.
