12.2 million UAH of guaranteed compensation were received by bank depositors under the management of the Deposit Guarantee Fund for February 2024. This was reported by the Fund's press service.

Thus, for the first two months of this year, the amount of guaranteed compensation paid by the Fund amounted to UAH 35.8 million.
In The Fund was reminded that after the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine No. 2180-IX “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Relating to Ensuring the Stability of the Deposit Guarantee System for Individuals”, a standard was introduced for the duration of martial law in Ukraine and for three months after its abolition or termination o 100% reimbursement of funds on bank deposits.
This means that for depositors of banks in respect of whom a decision was made to withdraw from the market during the validity of this norm, the Fund reimburses the full amount of their deposits, including interest, according to their condition on the day the withdrawal procedure begins.
How to receive payments
Payments can be received in three ways:
- via “Diya” application in your smartphone (select the “Return of Deposits” service in the menu), remotely through an agent bank, directly at a branch of the agent bank.
Since the foundation of the Fund, the amount of guaranteed compensation payments has amounted to UAH 104,613.6 million.
The Fund makes payments of guaranteed compensation from its own resources. As of March 1, 2024, it had accumulated more than UAH 31.5 billion.
