In 2023, Ukrainian investors made a profit of $850 million thanks to investments in cryptocurrency. Experts from Chainalysis came to this conclusion.

According to the report, Ukraine ranked 12th among the countries whose residents received the greatest income from investments in cryptocurrencies. It has surpassed Brazil, Japan, Canada, France and Spain in terms of this indicator.

The ranking was topped by the United States, which led by a wide margin – $9.36 billion.
In addition, the top 10 countries included the UK, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, India, Russia, South Korea, Germany and Turkey.

The total profit of crypto investors in the world reached $37.6 billion. For comparison, in 2021 this the figure exceeded $159 billion, while in 2022 losses from investments in cryptocurrency amounted to $127.1 billion.
According to Chainalysis, 10 out of 12 months of 2023 were profitable. The largest increase in income was recorded in November and December. It coincided with the recovery of the industry.
When compiling the rating, experts used data based on user interaction with centralized exchanges ( CEX). If the positive trend continues, in 2024 investor profits will approach the marks of the “bull cycle” of 2021, the report says.
