In January-February 2024, 75.3 billion UAH were allocated from the state budget for social payments, including 38.2 billion UAH in February. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

Where the money was sent
These funds were sent:
- UAH 42.5 billion, from of which, in February, UAH 21.5 billion was used to finance the payment of pensions, bonuses and increases to pensions assigned under pension programs and the deficit of the Pension Fund; 17.09 billion UAH, of which in February 8.6 billion UAH – for social protection of citizens who find themselves in difficult life circumstances; 2.2 billion UAH, of which in February 1.2 billion UAH – in support of low-income families; UAH 9.4 billion, of which in February UAH 4.8 billion was the provision of benefits and housing subsidies to citizens; 3.8 billion UAH, of which in February 1.9 billion UAH – for social protection of children and families; UAH 0.3 billion, of which in February UAH 0.25 billion was for social protection of persons with disabilities.
