Moneyveo has confirmed the level of security of card data by passing the annual PCI DSS audit

In a world where personal data is becoming the currency of the digital age, the issue of its security is not only relevant, but also critically important. In Ukraine, in recent years, there has been a significant development of services such as online banking, e-government, e-commerce, etc. More and more personal data is stored and transmitted via the Internet, which requires additional security measures.

In the context of the war in Ukraine, confidentiality and information protection have also become critical to ensuring national security. For every responsible business working with customer data, it is important to introduce reliable data encryption, strict access control to its information systems, etc.

And Moneyveo, specializing in the provision of online financial services, is just such a business. Protecting card data is the company's priority.

According to management, tightening protection is not only a requirement of the time, but also a strategic step in ensuring the trust of customers and partners in the company. In current realities, storing information is an important task for the effective functioning of a business.

Therefore, Moneyveo is constantly working in this direction and has recently again confirmed compliance with high international security standards, having successfully passed an annual audit. By the way, the company was the first in the Ukrainian online lending market to receive a PCI DSS 3.2.1 certificate (in 2019).

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is an international data security standard for the payment card industry, it was developed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC).

The process of confirming compliance with PCI DSS 3.2.1 includes an audit and assessment of all aspects of information security in a company – from software development to access control to systems. The audit was carried out by a reputable international company Compliance Control Ltd.

According to the certificate, Moneyveo meets these requirements and guarantees the protection of the data of its clients – payment card owners – at the highest level. So far, the NBU does not impose mandatory requirements for compliance with PCI DSS on financial institutions. However, Moneyveo, as a leader setting trends in the market, is always open to new challenges and opportunities, and actively introduces innovations in the field of information security. Thus, the company undergoes regular security audits to identify potential weaknesses in the system and take measures to eliminate them. Moneyveo also ensures that its staff are trained in cybersecurity to comply with internal procedures and standards. The company has strict access control to information systems and restricts access to confidential data of payment card holders to authorized users only. In addition, the company has data backups and recovery plans to store data in the event of a cyber attack.

“Receiving the PCI DSS 3.2.1 certificate confirms our high standards for protecting card data for customers and partners. At Moneyveo, we implement a wide range of security measures, including data encryption, multi-factor authentication and regular security audits. Our constant goal is a high level of protection so that all clients and partners of the company can be confident in us as a reliable partner,” said Moneyveo CEO Sergei Sinchenko.
