NBU plans to update the rules for transferring funds without opening an account

The National Bank of Ukraine proposes for public discussion changes in the organization of cash operations by banks and the conduct of payment transactions by payment service providers in Ukraine. One of the changes concerns the rules for transferring funds without opening an account. This was reported by the NBU press service.

In particular, in order to increase the transparency of payment transactions, the regulator plans to modernize the procedure for conducting and processing transfers of funds by non-banking financial institutions without opening an account in the national currency of Ukraine, namely, to exclude the possibility of cashing out by business entities for settlements with individuals carried out by transferring funds without opening an account.
