The lack of financial assistance from international partners next year could amount to $10-15 billion, and the hidden additional state budget deficit this year amounts to UAH 300-400 billion without taking into account additional mobilization. This assessment was shared by the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“Returning to the challenges, next year, most likely, the difference between the necessary and available international financing will be $10-15 billion, which will not be enough,” said he is at the congress “Public Finance Reform – the Path to the Restoration of Ukraine” in Kiev.
Zheleznyak noted the importance of business support in connection with the prospect of a shortfall in macro-financial assistance in the budget.
“… I remembered this not to make up for some kind of fear, but so that we all have a clear understanding that supporting business this year is a condition for the survival of next year,” the people’s deputy noted.
“And, unfortunately, seeing the budget figures, I understand that we are already short of 300-400 billion without additional mobilization. This is also a fact,” Zheleznyak emphasized.
