From April 1, 2024, a planned recalculation of pensions for working pensioners will take place in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Pension Fund.

It is noted that the recalculation will be made after information about the payment of a single contribution for the first quarter of 2024 is received (the deadline for submitting reports is until 10 May).
“That is, approximately in June, pensioners who will be recalculated will receive increased pension payments and additional payments for previous months, starting from April 1,” the message says.
Who will receive the pensions
< p>From April 1, pensions will be automatically transferred to pensioners who, after the assignment/preliminary recalculation of a pension, continued to work and, on March 1, 2024, acquired 24 months of insurance experience, or who worked for less than 24 months, but two years have passed since the assignment or preliminary recalculation of a pension.
If, as of March 1, 2024, at least 24 months of insurance experience have been acquired, recalculation is carried out taking into account the insurance experience. In this case, the pension can be calculated from the earnings with which the pension was calculated when it was assigned or preliminary recalculated, or, if appropriate, the earnings received by a person while working after the assignment/preliminary recalculation of the pension are taken into account.
At the same time, the average salary (income) indicator, which was taken into account when assigning/preliminary recalculation of a pension, does not change.
If, after assignment/preliminary recalculation of a pension, less than 24 months of insurance experience were acquired on March 1, 2024, The recalculation of the pension is carried out no earlier than two years after its assignment/preliminary recalculation, taking into account only the acquired insurance period. The salary for calculating pensions does not change.
